Wplus9 Dec./Jan. Release: Day 1

Note: If you've come here looking for my TCM: Farewell Blog Hop and/or Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge #14 post(s), please scroll down.

Welcome to Wplus9 Design's December/January Release week, folks!  We've got a fabulous lineup of new goodies to wet your appetites for spring, for you all, this month, including four stamp sets and three coordinating dies.  Today we're sharing creations inspired by More Fresh Cuts and its coordinating die, as well as Fresh Cut Wreaths.  Enjoy!
I started this card by trimming the bottom edge of a piece of White cardstock, which had been dry embossed with the polka dots, with a strip of red, stitched, diamond, patterned paper, which had been stamped, in Jet Black ink, with the "Happy Birthday" sentiment and topped with a trip of red and pink, polka dot, patterned paper.
I then framed them with a piece of Cupid's Bow cardstock and machine stitched, with white-threaded, zig-zag stitches, around their combined edges and between their connections, before wrapping their center with a length of Baby Pink Berry, seam binding ribbon, tied in a dressy bow and embellished with a crystal button, laced with a hemp twine bow.
After adhering the prepped piece, with foam tape, to the Kraft, cardstock, card face, I adhered an aqua, gingham, patterned, paper, double pocket die cut, also with foam tape, just to the left of the embellished bow and above the stamped sentiment and dressed it up with a heart button, laced with hemp twine.
The pocket was then stuffed with lots of yummy, floral images, stamped, in Not Quite Navy, Daffodil Delight, Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Lucky Limeade inks, on White, cardstock die cuts.  A few stamped, in stamped-off, Pool Party ink, bitty blossoms were scattered around the layers; and a bunch of clear, gemstone centers complete the look.
How about a little from Fresh Cut Wreaths, too?
I started this card by stamping a piece of Kraft cardstock, in Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, and Crisp Cantaloupe inks with the wreath and its big flower bits; filling in with stamped, in White and Wisteria Wonder inks, with the bitty flowers; and grounding it all with the stamped, in Jet Black ink, "congratulations TO THE BRIDE & GROOM" sentiment.  It was then filled in with the little, chipboard house which was painted with White acrylic paint, ink distressed, and glittered...
before being trimmed, across its bottom edge, with a strip of ivory, text, patterned paper which had been stamped, in Crumb Cake ink, with the stitched, quilt print.
The outside edges of the combined papers were then ink distressed, framed with a piece of White cardstock, and machine stitched around with white-threaded, straight stitches.  Before being adhered, with foam tape, to the Lake House, cardstock, card face, and to complete the look, a length of white, seam binding ribbon was wrapped, horizontally, around the prepped piece, between the stamped cardstock and patterned paper, tied in a double bow, and embellished with a lone pearl.
That completes Day 1, friends, but we've still got so much more to share.  So, be sure to stop by the rest of the designers' blogs to see what all they've cooked up for your viewing pleasure.  Then, I hope to see you right back here at the same time tomorrow.  Oh!  And don't forget to leave a little love on the Wplus9 Design Blog for your chance to win today's release treats, too.  Thanks, as always, for stopping by, and have a terrific week!

Wow Jinny! Amazing cards. I am a huge fan of Wplus9's building stamp sets as they enable us mere mortals to achieve a similar look to our favorite designers. The wreath is no exception. I find stamping in a circle impossible. Even if I sketch a circle with pencil 1st I always manage to get at least 1 stamped image in the wrong place ;-) Theresa x
